• The beach is pristene and untouched. It is not raked but truly wild with  coconut palm fronds washed on the shore.  The ocean is clearer than a swimming pool where you can see 30 to 50 feet down from your kayak! The  reef is 500 feet from shore- kayak out and then  jump off  and snorkel with rays, dolphins  and  schools of fish.

Andros Unwind features three guided excursions by boat:

• Travel by motorized Catamaran  to some of the most unique and exciting reef sites around the waters of South Andros.  Snorkel with a divemaster and learn about the tidal freshwater blue holes where   openings in the ocean floor blow a stream of fresh water  at low tide attracting  abundant marine life.



• Take to the ocean for a 1/2 day of reef fishing. The Andros Barrier Reef is loaded with red, grey, lien, mutton and yellowtail snapper, Nassau, black and tiger grouper, a variety jacks, and plenty of other reef fish for you to catch and enjoy.



• Explore the untouched west side of Andros on an eco tour day trip. Boat though inland "bights" to  the uninhabited western Andros. This area described by  Conservation Caribbean  is "one of the most ecologically intact and pristene areas remaining in the western tropical Atlantic." The area is teeming with large numbers or rare species from bull sharks to sponges and other small organisms. A recent nature Conservancy expedition  found that the area is an important feeding area for young green and loggerhead turtles and a nursery for bull sharks. The many small islands and estuaries  are also  ideal nursery habitats for snapper,  spiny lobster, tarpon  and bonefish.   This entire west side  was recently protected by the Bahamas National trust  as  the "Andros West Side National Park"
