Overview

Explore the lush rainforests of Boquete, views atop Cerro Ancon, and the indigenous culture still thriving in San Blas. Glide over the landscape on a zip-lining canopy tour, wake up to the scent and taste of fresh coffee grown on the farm where you’re staying, and snorkel in some of the most interesting locales in Central America. Explore remote islands on an optional 3 day sea kayak camping trip.

Itinerary Highlights

Tour the ships at the Panama Canal, get the best views of the city at Cerro Ancon, and visit an Artisan Market. Enjoy a nature walk and embark on a walking tour of the old town in Panama City, Casco Viejo.

Explore coral reefs, sunken ships and crystal clear water; hike to see waterfalls in San Blas. Grab a pole and go fishing, or see parrot fish, rays, and moray eels up close on a snorkeling excursion. Get in touch with the indigenous Kuna community and get the chance to witness their traditional "kammu burwi" dance.

Enjoy unique accommodations including waterfront, thatched-roof lodges in San Blas. Run by solar panels, the rooms were built with local materials from the Playon Chico village. Relax in the green mountain valleys and cool climate of Boquete during your stay at the farm-turned-hotel, Finca Lerida.

Spend an afternoon gliding through the treetops of century-old forests, high above the pristine rivers and waterfalls that make up the incredible collection of natural landscapes bordering the National Park La Amistad. Horseback ride through contrasting lands, through mountain ridges and then down into the rainforest.

Wake up to the smell of coffee beans and enjoy a sumptuous, homemade breakfast in Boquete. Hike the remote virgin cloud forest surrounding the base of Volcan Baru, enjoy a picnic at the base of an exquisite waterfall, and enter a cave behind the falls.

Guided by a Kuna, spend a day in the rainforest and discover a refreshing waterfall near Rio Sidra. Kayak the Diablo, Sugar or Manglar river.

Kayak, Snorkel, Fish, and the Best Diving in the Country on Coiba

Or, camp on a private palm lined white sand beach and explore the coves and rivers. Under water sightings include turtles, puffer fish, parrot fish, butterfly fish, and angel fish to name a few.
