Combine these activities with Gros Morne National Park’s mountains, coastline, fjords, and winding country roads and you have all the ingredients for a perfect multisport tour. Trek to Arctic alpine mountain summits, sea kayak deep fjords, bike to a fishing village along volcanic coastlines, and touch the earth’s mantle. Watch for whales and seabirds. Learn about unusual rocks and exotic plants.

Experienced wilderness guides will help navigate you  through Gros Morne National Park’s diverse ecosystem. The Bonne Bay water temperatures can reach 20 degrees C in the summer, the lush boreal forests dominate shorelines and valleys and the treeless arctic slopes skirt inspiring mountain summits.Fascinating geological processes carved this landscape over thousands of years today revealing a moutain range formed of the Eath’s mantle, deep fjord waters, rocky volcanic coastlines and wide river valleys. Itinerary Highlights

Meet your guide in Deer Lake and drive to Gros Morne National Park for an evening orientation and welcome dinner.

Hike Gros Morne Mountain for stunning views of wild mountain plateaus, endless coastlines and deep fjords. Watch for woodland caribou, Arctic hare and rock ptarmigan.

Bicycle from your accommodations to the water taxi for a delighful cruise across Bonne Bay. Bicycle from Woody Point to the Tablelands and to the fishing village of Trout River.

Hike to the top of the treeless Tablelands and touch the earth’s mantle! This red mountain is home to rare plants, unusual rocks, and stunning vistas.

Explore Bonne Bay’s rich marine environment by sea kayak. In the afternoon cruise Western Brook, a massive 16km fjord lake hemmed in by 800m cliffs.

The Lookout Hills rewards hikers with the finest panoramic view in Gros Morne National Park and the best chances to see moose in their natural habitat.
