Overview

Day 1

Even before you touch down in Belize you will see the lush greenery and beauitful ocean of Belize.  From the moment you descentd into the open air you will be greeted with Belizean hospitality.    Take a short flight to the coastal town of Dangriga where you will be greeted by an Eco Island Guide who will shuttle you to the island, 9 miles off the coast.   After a tour of the island, relax in a covered palapa with a welcome drink or walk the 1 mile length of the island.   Enjoy a delicious dinner in the screened in gazebo and listen to the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore as you drift off to sleep.

Days 2-7

Explore the beauty of Belize land and sea on two mainland adventure tours and three amazing snorkeling tours.   It’s your choice to explore the beauty of the Mayan Ruins, Jaguar Preserve, or Bocawine waterfalls.  Or, choose from one of the amazing specialty tours visiting ancient Mayan burial sites deep within hidden caves, zip line through the jungle canopy, or float through a river of caves.    Snorkeling tours visit the Belize Barrier Reef at South Water Caye, Tobacco Caye, and the mangroves where you will be entranced by the amazing coral formations, schools of fish, brightly coloured sea plants, and much more.   Kayak to Man O War Caye, a bird sanctuary or to the neighbouring cayes in a single or double kayak.  Enjoy delicious Belizean cooking with three meals daily.  Rekindle you romance with a private dinner for two served up in your private cabana.  Relax on the dock, swim in the warm sea, or sway to the island breezes in your overwater hammock.

Day 8

Your adventure concludes much the way it began with a flight from Dangriga to Belize International Airport with your last chance to spectacular sea from the air.   You’ll take with you the memories of an amazing island and the sites and sounds of Belize that can’t be found anywhere else.   Don’t forget to pick up some Marie Sharp’s hot sauce before you leave!
