Overview
A 7 day west coast family multi-adventure featuring mountain lodge/lakeside chalet accommodation in Strathcona Provincial Park and a 3 day kayak camping trip to Nootka Sound with support from a kayak Mothership. Adventures unlimited include: hiking, photography, zip lines, kayak soccer, whale watching, boat tours, massage, yoga, airplane tours, canoe, sailboat, rock climbing. Explore rugged coastlines, perfect beaches, dense rainforests and evidence of aboriginal cultures. Excite in spotting orcas, otters, grey whales, black bears, bald eagles and cougars.
Itinerary Highlights
Ferry to Vancouver Island and enjoy a short drive into the Beaufort Mountain range and Strathcona Provincial Park - home to six of the highest seven peaks on Vancouver Island.
Explore the many waterfalls, large evergreens and small mountain lakes in Strathcona Provincial Park.
Day trip by canoe, kayak or sailboat along Upper Campbell - Buttle Lake.
Board the Kayak Mothership named MV Uchuck III. This is a 136-foot passenger and freight vessel that will act as your base camp and support your group as you cruise from Gold River to Nootka Sound through the spectacular inlets along Vancouver’s rugged and incredibly scenic West Coast.
