Overview

This ten-day multi-activity Yukon/Alaska Adventure is for the active explorer who wants to experience all the best the Yukon and southeast Alaska has to offer, including its backcountry wilderness, without sacrificing comfort along the way.  On this odyssey you won’t just see the Yukon and Alaska from the confines of its highways; you will paddle its rivers and lakes, climb into the alpine, sore above its glaciers, fish its waters, ride the rails and learn about its nature, culture and history

Standard in all Langford Adventure backcountry camps are tents large enough to stand-up in, comfortable sleeping cots, an extensive wilderness library, high quality meals,  and the services of a professional wilderness guide

Itinerary Highlights

Arrive at Whitehorse on the first day, where you will get a chance to see the capital city. Next we head to the Tombstone Territorial Park and on the way see the Yukon River as we head along the Klondike Highway.

On day two we will hike the Grizzly Creek trail, maybe get in some fishing in the North Klondike River.

The Gold Dredge Tour is next on the list. Visit the ship size pieces of equipment that help to define Dawson City as a gold rush city.

Next we travel to Whiteshourse to do some sightseeing and meet the huskies for the next leg of the tour. Dogsledding is a must when you are in this locale. Whether you are a keen musher or not, this is an adventure you cant pass up!

Canoeing the Kusawa Lake and hiking the Kusawa Ridge Hiking Trail will provide a serene look at the magnificant mountain lake.

From the water to the sky, the next part of our tour takes us above the mountains so that you can admire the mountains from the sky, with the aqua-blue glacier lakes.

Back on land, our next adventure includes rafting the Tatshenshini River, which is sure to bring excitement and fun for the tour.

Next we travel into Alaska and visit some of the wonders of this area. Finally, we end the tour with a relaxing Rail tour and ending in Skagway.
