Bahamas - excellent deals on air !

As I prepared to visit the Bahamas on my most recent trip to Andros island in Bahamas, I found air travel with Westjet to be discounted if you travel one way. In searching for round trip flights from Toronto to Nassau , it became evident that two "one way" tickets was almost almost half the price vs round trip. $59 one way flights are currenty available from Toronto to Nassau and back again with West Jet. Other airlines offering direct flights to Nassau include Air Canada, American Airlines, Continental and US Airways.

Yukon continues to deliver up close and personal wildlife sightings. Wildlife sightings are common parts of any Yukon adventure including this beutiful "cinnamon bear". Iceberg finder for your trip to Newfoundland
June and early July are best for seeing Icebergs

June and early July are a great time to be in Newfoundland if you are keen to see some icebergs. The Northern Peninsula and Bay bull south of St Johns are both great iceberg viewing locales. Toursim Newfoundland has an "Iceberg Finder" - a google map showing icebergs that have been detected around Newfoundland and Labrador within the last 5 days. Some icebergs have been detected by satellite and some have been reported by select tourism operators.
