Surf Canada

The beaches of Vancouver Island’s Pacific Rim National Park are filled with surfers of all shapes and sizes. This has to be the Surf Capitol of Canada! Long Beach is an ideal location to learn to surf. With over 12km of beach, there is ample room to find your wave!

On a recent trip, I saw loads of teenagers getting up for the first time. Also lot’s of younger kids with boogie boards, even middle aged dads and moms (with wetsuits!)   carving turns. There are plenty of schools in Tofino and some lodges also provide lessons. Talk to Langford & Company about how to add some surfing time to your Vancouver Island adventure.
